This is my first entry for Blooming Friday created by Katarina of Roses and stuff. I think it's only fitting to start the meme with a rose for she loves this flower. Thank you Katarina for inviting me to participate in this wonderful weekly post. This is a great way to end a hectic week and a plant a seed of hope for a pleasant weekend. Flowers never fail to brighten someone's day.

thank u so much for commenting :) your red rose is so beautiful!
Enjoying your blog.
Wonderful pics !
Can you believe I grow no roses?
Unfortunately have a lack of full sun in my garden. Next year should be different...my DH gave me some of his tomato beds which are full sun...yay.
Glad Katarina started "Blooming Friday" which is how I found you.
Thanks for sharing,
Patsi
I Love it! It's perfect! Love the droplets and the color and the perfection of the rose itself!
Hi Lareine, that's a very pretty rose. Love the red colour.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a lovely weekend!
Wow, that's a nice rose! (And a nice blog too.)
to everybody:) thank you so much! i guess that's why red roses seem to be the most popular among its kind... their beauty is really striking...
to patsi: don't worry, i "inherited" most of our roses here from the former owner of our house although i have one pink rose which i brought with me when we moved in...
glad you now have a sun-drenched flower bed to-be:)... maybe next year you'll have a blooming garden... can't wait to see it:)...
to lisaschaos: it just rained when i took the photo (i think:))... so the color looks more vivid and of course, the droplets emphasized its "fresh look":)... glad you love it:)...
That's a perfect looking rose. I grow a few, but really try to get the ones with a scent. It seems harder to find them these days. Many are beautiful, but have nothing for the nose. I like a good nose rose!
hi will: we have two kinds of roses here that really have a sweet scent but they only flower for a few months... i guess roses with no scent bloom longer while those with fragrance flower for a shorter period --- a sort of "balancing", i think:)
