one of the landscapes seen after crossing Gaube lake (lac de Gaube) in the PyrénéesWe’ll be off to the mountains for about a week *cartwheeling with joy*. I just hope that my limbs will be up to the task of doing some short hikes *rueful grin*. For the past days, the air has been quite nippy and I believe it would be even more in the coming days. So, with the freezing temperature and my creaking joints, I don’t know if I could carry my weight around, much less walk uphill. In any case, it would be great to be in the open air, temporarily leaving worries behind. Let’s just hope the sun will keep its promise to shine on us while we are grueling our way up the viewpoints *cross fingers*.
The photo above is from a previous hike in the same mountain range. I hope I’ll be able to capture more facets of the wonderful and breathtaking Pyrenean landscape. Till my next entry. Ciao!
